VIENNA REINS

 The Vienna rein was introduced to me about 30years ago by Bill Noble who I was training with at the time.Bill had his own supplier of these simple reins made from webbing and I purchased a pair on his advice. They have been an invaluable tool which I have used endlessly  since. After repairing them for the umpteenth time I decided we had to find a new source and now we have !

WE can now supply off the shelf or made to measure VIENNA REINS which are very easy to use and highly adjustable.

 For those not familiar with the VIENNA REIN this is a European take on the side rein to be used when lunging.They offer the horse the opportunity to reach towards the contact but also trains them to yield to the rein and work in a round outline; particularly good for strenghtening the horses back  before the weight of the rider is introduced with the young horse and /or remedial cases with back issues (Read article on News page

Any horse can benefit from working regularly in them( provided of course you have a suitable surface on which to lunge! ) as they really  encourage them stretch  and lift and swing through the back.
